Thanked: 151How about Stag. I know a guy that makes stag scales and a light coat would be neat and many others seem to like blond horn which I also think would like great as well. I have also seen some pistaccio wood on ebay that might look really cool if you have the desire for wood scales, but I imagine there would have to be some process to harden or make the would stable.

I have this large elk horn in perfect condition I found while hiking in New Mexico. I have been toying with the idea of bartering the horn as partial payment for a restore (using the Horn). I haven't found the right razor yet.
I wonder if any of the restorers around here would go for that kind of deal.
