Joined this place in April of this year and now have 14. That's 8 that I use and I have 6 out for Resto/honing. Wife is about to kill me! In her words, "Why would you need more than one, certainly no more than two."

I have three. I shave with one mainly but the other two will see more use when I get sick of my daily, if that ever happens...I see no reason to have an insane amount of razors. Why have them if they are not going to get used. Let some other person enjoy them instead of them sitting around collecting dust.

17 in rotation
9 nekid blades
One day I'll stop trying to make my own scales and get the blades mounted on whatever I can get... till than I will look at the pile of kindling and imagin all the scales they could make

Thanked: 1Having Long thought about shaving with a straight i finally decided to start.
Buying a nice Wade & Butcher off ebay.
I Recieved it a week ago and have recived 5 more since, 4 for restoration.
There are another 20 on the way.
I have now come to the conclusion that Ebay is for all intents and purposes EVIL!
I even went to a swap meet on saturday hoping to find more.
I Cant even shave with one yet.

I used to think I had 300-400... then I counted them last week.
OUCH!
They are not razors! They are rabbits! They multiplied!
740...plus a couple of cigar boxes of junk razors.
87 in excellent or NOS condition
124 very good condition, need minor touch up
190 made in Sheffield
43 blades only
293 in good-fair-poor condition, need work
??? junk razors, some have very nice scales
This is nuts!Last edited by randydance062449; 05-25-2009 at 04:05 PM.

I am up to 3 straights and I am keeping my eye out for more. I am also looking at the 7 day set at classic shaving. My wife is willing to hit the antique stores and flea markets with me to find more razors.

I need a minimum of 7, one per day. You know just to make sure that the all have the proper rest before the next shave.
