My nightmare was real
P.T. Barnum was right... there IS a sucker born every minute. (If someone ACTUALLY buys this!)

What's the problem? Sure, it's mostly plastic disposables, but there are a few others in there. The thing that's going to suck is the shipping, because you're going to need a big box to put all the junk in.

Thanked: 235That is why you should never mix alcahole, drugs and ebay. Someone will wake up in the morning and decide to look at what they thought was the beautiful razor they bid on during last night's alcahole fueled mayham.

I don't understand your complaint, either. The seller is Phillip Krumholz, who wrote "the bible" of safety razor collecting. In his book, he devotes an entire chapter to disposable razors. That pile has lots of interesting stuff in it, and the auction starts cheap enough. The L-type injector alone is worth the price of admission. Not my cup of tea, but a legitimate auction, nevertheless. I notice he has some straights up for sale as well. I've bought from him before, and have no complaints.

Thanked: 317Add another one for, "and your point is......"
I've bought a straight from that seller before. His ad is very accurate and honest, and starts at $1.99
As a couple of people have pointed out, there are a couple of items in there that are worth more than $1.99
Granted, boxing up one or two semi-valuable items with a pile of obvious trash is a pretty lame gimmick to get a buyers' attention, but it's an honest add.
Also, I can just about guarantee you that somewhere out there, there is some nut-job collector who will drool over a collection of old disposables. I've yet to see anything that wasn't collected by somebody.
There are people on ebay who sell unopened fortune cookies, and empty soda cans. As long as the ad doesn't mislead, I don't see any problem.
