    lol. Is that a serious question? Yeah, I'd say you've been VERY lucky. Those look to me like they don't need anything more than a trip over the hones, and they are all very beautiful razors.

    Also, I'm not an expert, but I'd say that $60 for a Sheffield blade in real ivory handles in near pristine condition is one heck of a deal. I don't see a razor in the lot that I wouldn't be proud to own.


    *edit - I'd also like to know where the heck you've been antique shopping. I've never seen anything remotely close to the condition of those razors on ebay unless the prices were way higher than that, and I've never seen anything in that condition at any price at an antique store.

    The brummel and the sheffield I bought in the condition as shown. The rest I cleaned up with one of them buffing cloths and just some T.L.C. ya know!
    My wife makes jewelry so I already have access to a number of handy tools! Thankyou guys for the great input I sure appreciate it!

    Oh, I live in the Seattle and that's where I find my treasure's in the "Emerald city of Seattle!"

    Those are quite nice! I've also just started collecting and thought I had gotten pretty good deals bidding on ebay, but your collection blows mine away!
