Default 7 day set = Can anyone tell my if this is any good?

Hi I have bought these on ebay and yould like to know what you think; is it a descent set of razors. The sellers was asking $300 but they sold for $335.

I tend to think they are good razors, they are in good condition andthere is a lot of file work on the spine but would like your opinion as I haven't seen any other like these.

    This is the seller's description:

I bought this set about 8 years ago to use (I'm a long time straight razor shaver), but I never did anything with them other than store them away with a light coat of oil. The word when I bought them was that they were given to an Allied General - I forget his name - as a present near the end of WWII while he was serving in Germany. While I have nothing to confirm any of this, the style of the razors and box looks to be between 50 and 75 years old.

I do know the razors have never been used, you can tell by looking at them. There is no indication on any of the blades that they have been sharpened, and there are none of the typical water stains, stains around the pivot pin, or soap accumulations that use will show. The handles may show a little "shop wear" where they look fogged along the sides, like they have traveled while they sat in a box on their sides. But this "shop wear" is so consistent on all the handles I think they came from the factory that way, as they wouldn't have gotten that from this box. A couple of blades show some very tiny spots on the blade, maybe from being in a humid climate before I got them.

As you can see from the pictures, they are beautiful and have style. Being unused, all the etching and coloring on the blades is flawless. They have some very handsome machining and knurling on the blade backs. The scales and pins are all tight, unbroken, unchipped. They are all 5/8" blades.

The box shows slight wear on the corners, but is otherwise little used, and certainly far from being beat up.

All of the handles say "Solingen" in a gold or brass inlay. Most of the tangs say "Best silver steel Solingen" and a couple just say "Solingen". The blade backs state the days of the week in yellowish/gold lettering. The box shows no lettering or labels on it.
