Thanked: 317Good eye manah. I had missed those cracks. I think it's safe to say that finding a replacement blade or having one fabricated are the only options. As beautiful as those scales are, it would be a shame not to.

I have a 9/16" with a worked spine in a similar pattern.
I'm afraid its too small for your purposes though.
No big maker either.

would it be possible to turn it into a frameback? keep the spine, mill a slot in it and fit a blade to it?
