John sells them, or they're often on the bay. They generally need a rescale if sourced there, but that can be a nice excuse for a bit of customisation!
I have a 8/8 spanish point friodur from john, with ivory scales, it is a monster and it what I pull out to impress my friends, I got mine from John site as well. He is very nice guy to talk to but the razor is not cheap, it shave great and it cut through without irritation, but keep the blade pressure down. The only other razor I have that gives that effect is my le grelot.

there are not too many stainless razors, esp. in the large size.
in addition to the above filarmonica made stainless too, but it may be quite hard tracking one in stainless.
and there are always the custom made ones.

Post a wanted ad on the SRP Classifieds. Chances are someone is holding onto one, but not using it and will unload to an interested buyer. The stainless generally do take more work to stay sharp. I do enjoy the feel of them as I started out with Stainless Steel Straights. I would love to add a big boy 7/8/8/8 extra hollow stainless steel to my stable of straights, but for now, I will make do with my Dovo 5/8 SS Best Class, which is an excellent shaver.

Good Luck on getting one as I am sure one is out there waiting for you.

++1. I recently purchased an 8/8ths Friodur from John, and he was a total pleasure to do business with. Big selection with nice photos, many with a presentation case.

And the scale work on the Friodurs that John sells are top notch, so you won't have to spend additional money on a re-scale like you would if you bought off eBay. No Friodur is inexpensive, they're nice razors. But having to pay good money for one and then send it out for re-scaling and decent honing is a pain. You buy from John, you get a first-class specimen out of the box, honed shave ready.

Thanks to all for your advice.

    I ended up purchasing this.

As several have mentioned, John Crowley provides excellent customer service. I would highly recommend purchasing from him.
