Use it, that's what straights are for. Unless you tend to over-hone your blades, getting her shave ready should hardly put any wear on the blade, and if you take care of her, neither will shaving with her.

That is one of the sweetest Wosties I have seen. Excellent. I have a few but none that pretty. Excellent shavers for me.

+1 on making it not only shave ready but put it in the rotation George made some nice shavers. As for it's worth it will be worth more to you unless somebodyelse wanted it more.
