how about the Daffy Duck!

You know Doc thats a pretty good idea. And guys, I thought about Raven and Black Swan, and while they're birds they're not ducks you know? Right now I'm tossing up between some form of ________edge, Daffy Duck, and Midnight/Eclipse.

Actually a very cool technique used to blacken. I've seen it used with many antique and older firearms and very cool to use with this type of media (razors). Very Cool thinking outside the box, but inside the the box is a "#2 with snow peas to go".

Honestly because of the lightly pitted/satin finish, the Ugly Duckling is a really good option. If it were a pristine smooth finish I would have gone with the one word elegant things like midnight or raven or something, but this looks black and dark and rough. So like Dark Edge or Ugly Duckling or something like that might be better.

I guess if I would have read into the "workshop" area, I would have seen that you already called it the "ugly duckling". I forgot to vote so I came back here.

I think a little more light on the blade would give a better view of the blade (a light box perhaps), but I still think it is a cool option for blades that might be on the 'edge' of restore/unrestorable.

Try "Dirty Duck" or "Phoenix". Whatever it is put it in some red hot scales.

Thats the thing. It's completely satin/matte. Very little to no light reflection which is wicked.
