Thread: If Dubl Duck made a Black Razor... it would be...

So here's my question. It's bantered about that all the Pearlducks are the same (except the wonder edge which is the same + cryo). So hypothetically if thats correct, the different models are simply different trim. So now Hypothetically, if there were one made black- one razor to rule them all, one razor to find them, one razor to rule them all and in the darkness bind them- lol anyway that aside, if one were completely blacked (tang, spine, blade and all) with black cracked ice scales and gold inlay, what would that inlay say?

I was thinking a few options.
Midnight (Lifetime is a simple elegant word, I was going for that with midnight)
Black edition/Black Special/Special Black (some combination of the word black with limited or special or something)
Evil Edge/Black Edge (works with edge, and could be the black/white yin yang thing with goldedge)
I toyed around with Blue Steel and Magnum, but they sound cheap and not DD, and remind me far too much of Zoolander.

Anyways, please vote and let me know! Maybe, just maybe, you'll see such a razor sometime...

I think the Midnight idea is good and voted for that.

The dark edge sounds enticing... if you imagine Darkedge in script on the scales its less impressive though...

Lol I've seen that thread and really should become a member considering I own four... lol... Goldedge, two S#1's and a Bresnick SUPREJ.

The vesuvius doesn't have a pitch black blade, and the "rooster" DD in that thread is blued, and it doesn't look very dark at all. When I say black, I'm aiming for the colour that the Special #1 tangs were.
This will kick the crap out of the vesuvius. I promise. And yes, it has EVERYTHING to do with a certian inlay thread lol. When I am done, all will be revealed.

Actually, I think DD did make a black razor--the Black Diamond.

Okay. Enough with the "dubl duck already made that" blah blah blah. I believe most of those were ones ground by Bresnick, not members of the Pearlduck line. So let me specify: If PEARL DUCK made a black razor...
