You've got some seriously nice stuff there. The coticules are beautiful and sure enough one looks to me to be a natural and another a yellow/blue combo. Now I'm blue/green.

EDIT; Another looks to be a coticule with no slate or blue backing ?

So the longer bonded one, do you think that one can be used on both sides?

EDIT: yes, there's no backing on that one. Not sure if that makes it better or worse.

If it is a blue on the dark side absolutely. If the slurry is purple it is a blue. If the slurry is gray it is slate. Back when that fellah was barbering they were usually blue IIRC.

They break easily if dropped. Trust me I know from sad experience. Note the one that appears to me to be a blue with a residue of yellow on one side. It apparently got dropped.

Drum roll please.......instant razor and stone collection.

Nice finds. Now that you've got a start, start looking for more. It never ends until you're six feet under.

This is ridiculous, I can not even find a shop that sells anything where I live.

I went looking through some antique stores here in Bangkok. I found two stores with actual antiques and one store that knew what a straight razor was.

Nice score. Great razors and hones.
