Thanked: 0well, i was using the standard pads that came with the dremel, which cant have been too cours cause i used sum heavy grit on a large buffer and longer time earlier and took allot more off allot faster, i acutally had the blade fairly clean before i broke it...
now im kinda stuck do i cut it and make a really short small razor, or try and re gring the good steel into more narrow razor

Thanked: 0If you have the tools to cut the tempered steel, I would go shorter rather than narrower, the steel is going to be thicker and softer the closer to the spine you get. cut it, polish it and make some custom short scales and have a unique moustache razor. or a Coochie Razor. Just my $.02

Thanked: 0welp finally got another day off work, decided to devote most of it to my poor pipe... heres some pics i still couldnt get some of the pitting off the blade, and i have to hone the razor (i just gave it a quick onceover on a black arkansa stone after i attatched it to the new scales)
