I have both grinds the 1/4 and almost full that Martin sells. My full came from the English razor company who has sold their fulls out last year. Both razors shave equally close and comfortably. The 1/4 is an easier shave which may be a function of its mass. Additionally, the shave with the 1/4 is very quiet. However, you will not be disappointed with the full. Finally, you are correct the one available on the classified was considerably overpriced.

These are the 3/4-full hollow grinds. There are few places that have these still in stock.

The 1/4 hollow grinds are the ones that have become extinct.

What grind is the Dorko 300? It shave as good as the 1/4 grind Le Grelot in your opinion?
