My dear Stuart,

With only seven straight razors (plus two with replaceable blades in addition to three DE's), my collection is miniature compared to the museums some of our colleagues on the SRP site have. As for photos, the last time I tried to upload a photo of my converted pipe rack into a razor stand, even after all the instructions from the SRP experts, I almost blew up my computer.

I am working on my second novel. The thought of blowing this computing machine thingie and my novel along with it freaked me out and I stopped my adventure with uploading, unloading, or whatever . . .

Here is what I have:
Thiers-Issard Flying Tudor Rose 5/8" Snakewood scales.
Thiers-Issard 5/8" with black horn scales
Thiers-Issard 5/8" with Kingwood scales
All three can be viewed on the Classicshaving.com site.

Dovo 6/8" Renaissance
Boker 5/8" Edelweise
Both are on the SRD site.

Dovo 5/8" with Pearlex scales
At Vintageblades.com

Wacker 6/8" "Antik" with blond bones scales
On the Shavingingshop site.

It's not a presidential collection, but it serves me well. Although I have remained at age 27 for several decades now, had I been 26, perhaps I would have created my own straight razor museum.

Stay well. You live in London, one of my most favorite cities in the world. I have walked its streets many times. What a glorious city. A long time ago, I even stumbled into the Taylor of Old Bond Street shop on, I believe, Jermyn Street — and went nuts.

Regards,

Obie
