Filly that punches above its weight
I recently came into possesion of a Filly 3/8 blade from ebay. I thought I was buying a 4/8 but when I recieved it it was 3/8.
I got round to shaving with it this week ,I got it up to a great level of sharpness using the Blue hone on my Dovo paddle strop .The razor responded to this better than it did to my other hones.
I must say that the shave I got from this was amazing & the shaves Just keep getting better, I used to have a 5/8 Filly but I couldn't get on with it But this blade Just seems to get into my awkward areas with no problems. I would say that for anyone who is thinking of trying one of these Get one & you may well be as surprised as I am by it. Cheers Paul

Nice looking blade. Have actually never tried a blade under 5/8. Maybe ought to give it a go.

Do you mind to post the picture with the ruler? I've heard about 3/8 razors, but never seen one.

This is the razor that I've been looking for all these years
I've been using this almost exclusively since I posted it.
It has now become the only razor that I use .
It's been along & fascinating journey that I have enjoyed immensely.
But at last for me the search is over I have found my perfect razor.
The shaves just keep getting better &the razor keeps a truly great edge that is easy to maintain .
If you get a chance to try one of these . I would say go for it .
Cheers Paul

Quite a few have turned up on ebay lately so now is the time to get one!

I've got one to! Not to happy with it tough, its hard to hone, and harder to strop.
