They can be had on ebay for less than $15, but you will need to hone it or have someone do it for you. I bought three from ebay and that is all they needed to make them usable. You could get a bad one I suppose, but I didn't in my small sample of three. If you want to play it safe or not hassle with honing then buy from the guys mentioned above.

If you break it down...
lets say $18 for razor. $3 to ship to get honed. $20 for honing service. $3 return shipping.
$44. And if you need more work done(like to redrill pivot, correct heal,etc...), it may be a bit more.
That is basically where the difference in price comes in.

To be honest if I could shave with a blindfold I don't think I could tell the difference. The two are practically identical. The 200 is supposed to be stainless which would account for the extra cost, but they both are shaving and holding their edges well. Originally Posted by hothotpot
