I did try to hone it.
I did not get even close to shaving with it
I found it odd that it was in my hand and touching my honing stones (that is supposed to be funny)
440 stainless is decorative only.
Can you hone it? I am not that skilled.
I have other razors that are shave ready.

So there is no wet shaving for you anymore. Right? I own brand new Basic Dovo and Boker King Cuter and all my Chinese made razors shave as good or even better(208,200 and Titan VG-10) than those overpriced pieces of German engineering. Proof me wrong. Period.

ROFLMAO That gave me a good laugh. If you are happy with your Gold Dollars thats all that matters. No need to put down other members or razor brands. I mean how can anyone compete with the honester Grand Zu Fu?

Happy Easter. Nothing piss me of more than any kind of snob-ism and ignorance. Good luck with your probably fancy and overpriced collection of I'm sure sophisticated equpment that works for you the same way my Chinese made razors work for me.

Thanked: 101I just finished honing my Double Arrow 200 on my 16K Shapton glass & all I can say is frigging WOW!! The temper on my blade is just right for honing. I stropped on Scotch linen for 40 laps & did 60 laps on vintage Scotch shell horse hide. This shaves almost as well as my favorite Wade & Butcher 7/8" mid 1800's. It seems just a little harsher than the W&B but it is really hard to tell. I am gonna try 8 laps on my Coti under running water then strop again & see how it feels then.
Just tried what I said above I it smoothed out the shave where there is really no difference between the two straight's. I did 6 laps with little to no pressure on the Coti with running water. This trick has made a difference for all my razors. I need to try finish honing under running water with all my finishing hones.
