Thread: Modified Gold Dollar

OK, the scales are made by Gold Dollar, the Double Arrow razor is not. Double Arrow has it's own website (I have it in one of my threads on Shanghai steel I think...) and it's own razors.
From the GD website you can see their razors have GD tang stamps, etc. I believe it is a completely seperate entity.Judging from the lack of quality of the Gold Dollar scales that come on a DA, I don't think I want to try out the razors they produce!
(Actually, that's not fair, as from the pics, the razors look to be as nice as the DAs, as long as they use a similar quality steel, they probably shave fine)


I have contemplated ordering up a case of DAs though. At worst I could sell them off like stamps222 does at $9.5 each.
Or offer them pre-honed for an extra $20.....
add in a French, or Szechuan point for an additional $20.....
