    Default My stable of Filarmonica's

Here is my current lineup of Fili's ... I must say these are about my favorite shavers .... they cut whiskers like a hot knife through butter!

    From left to right:

    1) # 14 Especial Para Barbas Duras

    2) # 14 Doble Temple (from Classic Shaving) rescaled by Max

    3) #13 Doble Temple

    4 and 5) #12 Doble Temple

These are some fine razors ... I would recomend a Fili to ANYONE ... if you have the chance to get one, by all means, treat yourself!

    Thanks,

    Steve

I'll second that. Give it a month or two and the prices might be back to relatively normal levels.
Nice collection by the way. Give me a week or two and I'll post a Filarmonica Compilation picture as well.
I'm curious to see any other stables our there?

Nice bunch of Filarmonicas! You're fortunate to have so many fine razors in such fine condition.

It's funny, as soon as I saw the second one, I thought "That one looks like some of Max's work." Sure enough, reading further, it is. It's impressive that Max has such a strong sense of style in work and materials that it's almost immediately recognizable.

I also really like your boxes. Where did you find them?

That's the culprit of it all!!!

If it wasn't for Steve sending his Fil 14 for a hone and some weird crap removal on that blade we would still be enjoying some normal prices.

But noooooo. Unfortunately after I honed that Fily I took it for a spin and I was so blown away I immediately was on the look-out for one. Found one and bought it.

I shared my lovely experience on the forum and the rest is history.

I'm just glad I grabbed my 14 EPBD on the price upswing instead of the peak (are we even at the peak yet?).
