    I haven't tried the Fili's yet, but they have to be much better than Dovo's from what everyone says

    I think it isn't that the Dovos aren't worth it, the Filly is just better. But try finding a new (NOS in this case) Filly for under $100.

    This thread helps me out; with a Filly 13, I can pass on Dovos for now and maybe look at trying a Wacker or Henckels next.

    I think that that may require a more expert honemeister than myself to get that legendary Fili edge on it, so I'll leave it someone else. I'm going for this bad boy instead. It's got a little bit of hone wear, but I'm sure that I'll be able to live with it.
