Hey Scott,
Nice haul with some great names. There is nothing more satisfying that bringing something back to life and using it. I did that with the first razor I bought, see pics. Even though I've bought, restored and sold several since then I still have the first one. When you finish those razors they should look good displayed in your new 'Old West Style Str8 Razor Rack'.................

Good score there chap and I know DPflaumer will do you proud on the scales, I had the same sort of good luck myself, my wife bought me 3 picture frames of razors that hung on a barbers shop wall here in the uk, and a friend of my stateside sent me what I can only imagine is a salesman carry roll that had a dozen or so vintage razors in, I now own around 45 including some quite old and interesting examples.
If you check my collection link below you can see the few I have had a chance to work on and shave with
Enjoy your shaves from the grave with the old restored razors, I dont believe there is much around today that beats a vintage/antique shave.

Thanked: 1936Nice job on the restore Bruce! I'm glad I didn't order the 7 SR rack from you & opted for the 14. We always remember those first's don't we...
Mr. Pflaumer seems like a nice gentleman & I've seen some of his work, but working on scales are the last thing on his mind this weekend. I believe his lil' lady is in town this weekend... Nice job on the restore Tat & what a score with the wife...sounds like she's a keeper.Last edited by ScottGoodman; 11-01-2009 at 01:23 PM. Reason: kant spel worth a darn

Thanked: 1936Before and after on the James H Dunn... Decided to use some deer antler scales that I was working on.
Still need to polish out the scales some more & work over the pins a little more, but all in all, I'm very pleased. So much that I had to take a pic and post it for you guys!!!!!!!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
