I can't get over how great this razor looks. It is absolutely fantastic.

I was away from home for a few days. Here is a pic of the tip; it looks narrow and small, but notice the razor tapers in all dimensions to the tip. It is about 5/8 at the toe end and 6/8 at the heel. Hope it gives a good idea of the grind.

It shaves as good as it looks

Thats always good news. I really hope the trial that thebigspendur is doing works out well for me. I couldn't imagine only having one western straight, but I do believe I could be a very happy man with a single razor if it were a beautiful japanese piece.
