    Here's few candidates quickly:

WR Case and sons, no 23, 5/8, rust blued (reduced) - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

Mack GERMANY 5/8 - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

The beginner guide gives suggestions how to choose your first razor.

Also, check those other two places too - just because somebody doesn't ship to India, doesn't mean nobody will.

The Invisible Edge/ DOVORazors deliver worldwide:

    Dovo Razors

As I said before, they do a DOVO Best Quality, honed and ready to go for £60.66 including shipping.

I've emailed Steve to double check that they mail to India and I'll post when I hear back from him.

I'm sorry - I don't understand the question... What about the blade?

Also, check the invisible edge like stubear said - I believe that dovorazors delivers with similar policies.

You're welcome. Newbies deserve some help to get them started out. However, since there is learning curve in using and maintaining straight razors, you will have to take initiative yourself and seek out knowledge by yourself (read the beginner guides again, wiki, forum, FAQs, other websites etc, what is the price of these, do they deliver to india, how to do something) and think for yourself ("what do I need/want", "can I do this myself").

Search function is great in wiki and the forum

Hope everything goes well for you...

Just heard back from Steve and he said its not a problem to ship to India so you can order from him at the site address I gave above.

The £60.66 price includes shipping so you wont pay any more than that if you order from them, and the razors do come sharp. I got a Bismarck from him and its one of my best shavers.

EDIT: As Ursus says, do read up on the Wiki and search out the threads that you need. All the info you need is on this forum and the Wiki, so make sure you have a good read of everything you can get your hands on.

The people who get the most out of their shaving are the ones who take the time to do their homework and prepare fully. After all, these razors are sharp and you dont want to do yourself an injury or damage your prized possession...!

Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Sorry. Thought you had chosen already and didn't ask for comments.

Yes. I think that's a good choice for a razor. Many happy shaves with it.
