I've had no success at contacting the present recipient including his regular e-mail address and he hasn't posted on this site in quite a while.

I finally heard back from the guy and he says he shipped it out so the next guy on the list should be getting it soon. That should be McShaverson.

I would love to get on the list but,
I have two DE shaves in and one STR8.
Do you think I need more experience?

It's up to you. Personally, I think shaving with a Japanese straight is like learning to shave all over again.

How many people are on the list right now? Could I join the list too?

I'am shaving with western straights since 4 months, and I'am very curious what a japanese kamisori shave feels like.

I think we have about 2 left on the present list and on the second probably around 10. Just read the first post in this thread and agree to everything and pm me all the details.

I have just read this post .. yes all 13 pages of it and noticed that no one has posted anything for a while i was just wondering what was happening ?

I have found the story very interesting and think it's cool that it has been shared around like that, i just hope that know one has taken advantage of the owners generosity
