looking for ideas for storage
Hi. I am wondering what to do to store my small (less than a dozen) collection of straights. Would appreciate any ideas.

A few of us have used display cases and mounted some hooks inside.Works well and keeps humidity from the shower away from your blades.I still oil lightly anyway. Here's mine:

Another possibility is to get a razor roll. There are plenty of places that make them in everything from Denim to Leather, holding from 4 to 20+ razors. Just make sure you oil (I use baby oil) your blades before storing them for a long time.

I use silverware trays for some of them. Fits in a drawer and keeps them separate. Good for a small assortment. Here is an example.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Pen cases or pen rolls can work, as can travel humidors. Other possibilityes are toothbrush stands, pipe stands (the kind of pipes you smoke) or test tube racks. I have a lock box that I lay my largest blades in and razors rolls for (most of) my smaller blades.
While nice display cases and fancy razor rolls can work, I personally wouldn't shell out the money for something like a TI roll or case. Yes, they are nice, but I'd rather spend my money on the actual razors than something to hold them.

Ideas for storage may be very different.
From a stand on the wall
to a stand on the table.

Since you said "store" your razors, and not "display" your razors, here is
what I use for storage. I have three of these organizers that I bought at Home Depot. Each can hold between 40 - 50 razors.
I put a packet of desiccant in with the razors and renew it periodically.

I made a fun little rack for my bathroom:
Admittedly the moose head is perhaps a bit extravagant. You can probably get away with maybe a deer head or a mounted swordfish.
