For all you pros: The one I am on the fence about has the outward sloping tip like a spike point, but the point is rounded. It is no where near a french point, just the smallest angle you can visibly notice. Hence me calling it the broken spike point.
Other than that, any thoughts on it?

This was always the way I thought of it also,but maybe there are varying degrees of angle and once you reach a certain point,you're into French/Irish points.I went back and looked at the original photo,and it does come out slightly(before enlarging it looked like 90 degrees).I didn't call the photo I borrowed from JoeD a French because I thought a French always had a rounded top.
