These two razors are really nice.
The companies that made these razors are well known.
Here some info about ED.Wusthof and J.A. Henckels.Alex Ts.

That Wustoff is a nice one and a good brand. The Henckles is tiny but some guys like smaller blades. I used to trim a mustache with one when I wore a stache. Something to practice honing on if you end up not liking it to shave with.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 96Echo'ing khaos with added regret that the scale appears missing a tip. Otherwise that would hone up into a beauty.

Thanked: 0No, the only thing on the Wusthof is the little chip which I am hoping to get hones out. I think after Christmas and such I will send at least that one to be done if not both. Still kinda unsure what he would ever use that tiny one for but I am sure he wants to give it a try.

Thanked: 96Oh nice, it's just a shadow then.
Yeah, I love those scales. So retro Wusthof.
The henckles looks ground a bit below 3/8. I find them good for sideburn, around the ear and behind the jaw, and before I grew a goatee, mustache and lower lip.
It's your call though. If you're sending em to someone on forums, most will do a second razor fairly cheaply. So it's something to consider. If nothing else, I'll put an edge on it for you if ya send a SASE with it. But I can't pretend I can hone up like the guys who actually get paid for it (and likely one of them will volunteer to save you from my skill (or lack thereof) now, thus my plan will have worked to perfection). I can't stand to see good metal go unused. Whatever ya do though, don't let me touch that Wustof. It's too pretty for my methods, and I can't guarantee you would get it back.
