This is a different company. Even if they are brothers. There is also EMDE Magnetic Silversteel. No brothers.

    So:
    Gebr.Emde
    Friedrich Emde
    EMDE

Well, This trademark was used by Gebrüder Emde, Emde Brothers(Emde Bros), Solingen-Weyer in 1925 and 1928, Deusbergerstrasse 69 in 1939.

P.S. Looking at the years of work, most likely, the company of Friedrich Emde became Gebrüder Emde. IMHO.

    Can not agree or refute.
There is no evidence and information.
And this is also their company? Or another?

Just a little info update to this question. The bird (Kiebitz) used as the logo is a northern lapwing, and the reason that the days of the week are written in English is because they were made for the US market and were distributed by Fromm Bros. Cutlery from Newark.
    Hope this helps somebody.

    This is my Kiebitz
