Thread: Kukri Magnetic Diamond Steel? WTH?

What a beauty. I've got a couple or so of blades that are magnetized, though none that state so on the blade. It seems to have been a marketing gimmick at some point though opinions (naturally) differ.

Actually with vintage blades it was a pretty common thing. Off hand I can think of the Carbo-magnetic Brand. However they are others. Advantages? I don't know. Maybe it is attracted to the iron in your hemoglobin and causes the razor to adhere to your face giving a better shave. That sounds pretty good eh?
