Hart Steel's razor looks wonderful; it seems so modern to me but I'd been hearing talks that it's not a real good straight. Anyone have any input to this brand, or maybe another brand to recommend?
holli4pirating was spot on that a new blade will not solve the rust issue.

While you are on the classic shaving site look for other 6/8 blades that
are less expensive. Compare, contrast then decide. So many fine razors
out there.... Valentines day is soon so a Heart might be the right choice

Pick up some mineral oil from the drug store and when you are finished shaving get in the habit of rinsing the blade in hot water, wiping it dry and then apply a thin layer of oil. No mater what blade you decide on this is a good habit to get into especially if your home environment invites rust.
