    Default wade & butcher

    I seem to have no problem honing, but I have bought a wade & butcher from ebay & can't get an edge on it. any ideas guys. Its a nice razor and I really want to bring it back to life.

    what grind?

    You're not providing much info to assist with so I'll guess.

    Mark the existing bevel with a marker and adjust your honing stroke to be sure you are honing the complete edge. Use a 1k hone till it pops arm hairs. Don't move to a finer hone until then. You may need to rock the blade on the hone to get the whole edge. Be sure you are not creating secondary bevels.
