    I have a bottle with sweet almond-oil, can I use that to oil my blades?

    I have been oiling my knife and now str8 razor blades with a sort of low viscosity PTFE based oil. I dont oil the scales, but sometimes oil gets on the ebony scales, but i think its ok?
