Latest update on this razor: I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is I honed the razor this morning and used it for the first time, it gave me an excellent close shave, not a nick or any raw spots. There is something about the design that seems to make it easier to shave with I guess it is the placement of the blade, it's kind of hard to explain but I definitely like shaving with it. The blade length is the same as my Dubl Duck dwarf but the tang on this razor is 3/8 longer than the dwarf. The dwarf weighs 7 ounces and this razor weighs 9 ounces the balance is very good on this razor. Now comes the bad news the only way someone is going to get this razor from me, and I quote the great actor Charlton Heston "when you take it from my cold dead hands". LOL. Now I know some of you are going to say well that can be arranged, but I say let nature take its course and one of these days some lucky guy will probably pick it up at a yard sale or an antique store or eBay. But seriously if I do decide to sell it one of these days when I am hard up for money I will let you guys know, until then it will stay in my collection and will be used regularly.

    How old are you ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
