I like both hollow and wedge razors, and the things in between.
Hollows are much easier to hone thoughTil shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Like Bruno, I like to mix it up. I started out leaning toward heavy grinds, and now I lean toward very hollow singing-type razors. But I switch back and forth because the heavier grinds are still just cooler somehow.
I love the heft, size, traditional curvy-ness, and the forgiving nature of the heavier grinds. But I do find them harder to hone, and I have much less "feel" when stropping a heavy grind as opposed to a full hollow.
But strangely, the biggest advantage(?) I find with full hollows is the acoustics of the shave. Wedges and quarter-grinds tend to be very quiet whisker-squeegees. I find that the louder hollows give me an extra degree of acoustic feedback that I find useful during a shave when I'm trying to get BBS.
It's funny how we change. When I first tried a true full hollow, I *hated* that sound, and was almost shocked by it. But now I love it, and think "Yeah, baby!" when I hear it. Can't explain it.
