    Dylan, This wouldn't have anything to do with a particular Reynolds that I am familiar with by any chance would it?

    Well, she did take much longer than I thought she would. Now that her bevel is set, I can swear them off for good.

    +1, funny, I've never had a Reynolds nor any particular desire to get one until now. When the going gets tough ...y'know .....

    Let's not confuse "hard as the bejeezums to hone" and how a reynolds actually shaves. I have a 7/8 reynolds wedge that shaves quite nicely...granted, it's like taking a lawnmower over a lawn that a dog has peed on for a summer, but there's still some grass to mow

    I would encourage those to try a Reynolds...just send it off to someone else to hone and you will enjoy it.
