Thanks for sharing that story. There are a LOT of very generous acts going on here that never get aired. You are right. This is a place where great men of like mind come to gather

I just want to add my thanks to those you have already received. It reminds me of something I just read about trust. It basically said: "Be the first to trust, demonstrate your trust in others before asking for trust from them. Leaders go first, as the word leader implies." The gentlemen you dealt with are fine exapmles of this aspect of leadership by positive example.

The_Pastor: I think if St. Anselm or Martin Luther had ever encountered the fine folk at SRP the dreaded words suum quicue would have a very different interpretation... most of the fellows I have rubbed against here would be receiving a heap of free honings, creams, brushes, razors, strops, advice, good business partners....
