Thanked: 1371You could do the third, and bring the base of the heel in a bit more like the first.
That would give you that nice smooth curve, and match the angle of the toe.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

HE DID IT
I couldnt resist any longer so I went to town on it with the dremel. Once the radius was cut the shoulder remnants looked terrible imo, so I made a bold decision and decided to sacrifice the maker markings for a smooth look by continuing the hollowing.
Hope you like it! -- now the hard work of sanding begins

Shame about losing the stamps but at least you have a workable razor now
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Yep, I had to do that to my DOVO awhile back..I lent it to a cherry and he dropped it..Came back with a crack on the heel, so I put it on the drill press (with a small sanding drum) and turned it into a shouderless..I actually like it better now.. It shave like a bismark.

I have a W&B Special with the same point. I recently sold a Bow that also had that point. Must be factory and I think it's very cool that a company would go the extra mile to do something like that to distinguish there product from all others.
