You should check eBay item# 180602044340; the will winner will probably pay something similar to an iPhone4.

My "Holy Grail" is a number of razors or really any razor that when I shave with it, it seems to melt the whiskers away!!!!
There are many!!!!
Have fun,
Lynn
Lynn,
Would that be the Chronik "Melter"? I have an Akute "Melter" and am also looking for the Chronik brand of same. I probably shouldn't say this, but I believe both Glen and Jimmy have one. Don't let them know I told you about this: mum's the word. :fim:
Happy New Year
:beer2: :beer2:
I want a DD Grim Reaper to finish my DD collection I dream about it but I can't seem to find a nice original one any where!!! Anyone have one they want to sell? I'm willing to trade and throw cash in!
But I also want a Filarmonica 8/8.:boohoo:
I ain't got one yet. :boohoo:One of these days ......
who ever said there HELJ keys have been worn thin, do i ever know that feeling, watched the big one in the classifies sail right by.........:beer2:
or maybe an 8/8 hermann mehl. :)
Difficult, have several. My 11/16 "Timor (Giesen & Forsthoff). My Wacker.
So I can go on. All razors in my rotation are for now my holy grail.
To the super razor I'm still looking.:)
Which razor is that ....???? That's why I keep searching and buying.
I would say a pristine grim reaper, one of the 1 of 500 thiers issard re-issue of the hand-hammered blades by issard himself, or as far as modern blades are concerned, a Livi damascus of some sort.
I think the Grim Reaper will be my new grail. Finding one if good condition will be much more difficult than just purchasing it from a site.
That's gorgeous,I think I have a new holey Grail, other wise,a Bartmann with the fancy scales that I saw on one already and a french nose
Speaking of great razors, I saw a Griffon Carbo Magnetic that looked to be in great shape in the Classified's. These have always been one of my favorite shavers. Actually, I keep looking at but I need another razor like a toothpick under my eyelid..........:)
Have fun,
Lynn
Not sure really but....I keep thinkin I like some of the older blades with barber notches but more rounded edges and I kinda like the look of the Rev war period blades.Just don't have the dough right now.
So far this is my holy grail: but I know there will be others soon.
9/16 Joseph Rodgers & Sons Full Hollow grind
Today, it would be a MINT Easy Aces but I'd settle for another Model 89 Genco or..............
I'd love to have one of the old Texas Shumates, before the company relocated to Missouri in the early 1900's. Alas, I'm convinced they've all been damage, lost, or hoarded.
Love the look of that Joseph Rodgers! If I could get my hands on one of those,I'de have it rounded though as I'm not partial to Spanish and Square edges.Sweet lookin razor.Really like the scales too.:)
