Thanked: 3164It certainly does look like that Genco Safedge in the wiki, Dylan! The main difference is that this was a bona-fide hollow ground straight and the GS (the model B, anyway) is a type of modified frameback. It would explain that brassy coloured bit on the tip of the spine - maybe it was once longer, or spring-loaded or something?
Regards,
Neil

If there is a spring mechanism, I would guess it would be on the guard itself, but that is just a guess.Last edited by holli4pirating; 05-22-2010 at 03:43 PM.

ok, ok, just because you asked nicely
the thick part is mirror finish and the bottom is matte. I think something like 6/8 or 13/16
