To muddy the waters a bit further... I have a 5/8 Union Razor Co. covered tang made in Tidioute PA. Any connection between this and the GA & NY companies?
Cheers,
Larry

Thanked: 1371I have to do some digging, but I am almost certain that I have a Union spike that's stamped with Georgia on the tang. I'll let you know if I find it.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanked: 0my grandfather
My grandfather, Walter Cowart, owned the Union Razor Cutlery Co (sp?) in Union City GA.
He previously worked for Homer Gullatt there in the mail order razor business.
