    Default Continued chips in blade

Hey everyone, it's been along time between posts but i've had smooth sailing shaving and posts already up on our forum answers all my questions normally..... Except for this one.
I've been SR shaving for a year now and my dovo caused me a bit of grief in the past by loosing it's edge, but lynn helped me out to hone it for me awhile back. But recently my Dovo's edge has been chipping and as you imagine it's quite annoying! Any suggestions what could be causing this eg. technique?? What do you think gents?

It is normal.everysingle blade will have chips after using while.time will be different from blade to blade.may be it is time to re hone the blade.

+1 on what Sham already stated. Chips happen... if you think you have a problem now, get hold of a microscope of some kind and take a look at the bevel... you will likely see microchips everwhere and some level of oxidisation. You need to hone it. If you send it out you should get in touch with Oz. He is a true Gent, a hone monster and it will save you postage to the US, as he is based near Sydney.

    Good Luck
