@CastSteel: Maybe this one is that one you saw in the Bay, got it from Poland.

I sharpened the Kitty yesterday and it was somekind of hard work, spend lot of time on my Naniwa SuSt 800 to remove the nick,
well, i know that 800 is a bit to fine for removing nicks but my 400 broke two weeks ago so i had no choice.
The Steel is hard but after working on the 800 the work on the Coticule and the Yellowlake was easy and routine.
HHT wasnt possible but im used to that after my two slate stones HHT isnt possible in many times, the shave will show if kitty is sharp & smooth enough :-)

That original razor looks to have a fire burning in a brazier..

Seoul had an Olympics in 1988... And the brazier they used looked very similar to the one on the scales. I know NK boycotted the 1988 Olympics, But it doesn't mean they didn't try and profit from them

    hey YGG, nice collection there,..

recently I posted a thread here on SRP about mine DPRK razor (click) and would like your opinion on it,.. the blade seems to be a bit off center... (see the pics in the post)..

Yes I have already replied to you a few times, and it seems that your razor has a factory defect which in my opinion may be tough to fix. As I told you, you should try to keep the original scales, hone the blade and shave occasionally with it or just keep it as a collection item
