Default Flea market find-North Korean razor

I found this piece on a fela market today.
It's a North Korean razor (according to the scales&box), measures about 7/8, "half round" head, one piece moulded scales.
My question is: Does anyone here speaks Korean?
Can anyone translate the writings on the box/tang to me?
    Thanks

That is a some cool looking razor you have here. Very special scales also. With that matt finish it looks like they've made of some hard rubber or something like that.
Sorry i speak no Korean, but i would sure like to know how did that razor ever end up in Hungary. Would be interesting story.

Looks like the tang stamp is the same as the lettering on the side of the box. IIRC at least one member is in Korea. Probably South I expect. I don't know if they are from there or just living there but if they see this thread maybe they will enlighten us all. Very cool find BTW, hope it shaves well.

    Thanks Guys,

the scales just looks like rubber, it's some kind of soft plastic. (And feels very much like plastic).
About the story: I' interested too, when i firs saw the razor, the seller said:
"I have this Chinese crap here..."

I just realized, that this is not Chinese, when i looked at it better...

I recently honed one of those for a friend, but it had blue plastic scales.
It's actually a pretty nice razor... but it had some issues with the spine that Hi_Bud_GL helped with.
It turned out to be a pretty good shaver.

Given the significant restrictions on any communications media in NK and the fact that you get shot for violating them, I'd say you're right. Unless that member happens to be a member of the ruling elite.

    Thanks again,

so, meanwhile a fellow forum member asked his friend about the writings on the razor:
    I quote his message:

the writing on the top "면도칼" literally means "razor"
the next picture says "고양이표" which means "cat symbol", haha
next it says 길주 2월 26일 공장
which means it was manufactured February 26th in 길주
    Kilju
i did some more searches and i found out that "February 26th Factory" is the name of a factory in North Korea
btw, that is the same place that they did the Nuclear test
    the same city

So this is the "Kitty" razor

For the translation thanks to "wrl"!

"Myǒndo k'al 면도칼 (面刀칼)" is, even more literally, a "facial knife." Of course, that's obviously a razor as you say.
