Thanked: 3164If its anything like mine it has am image of Isaac newton engraved on blade and tang along with his name and dates. The front scale is also impressed with "The Sir Isaac Newton Razor" and the tang has "Made in Germany" on the back.
It was made by Friedrich Ern & Co, Solingen, Germany - a good shaver.
Regards,
Neil

Thanked: 1587That Isaac Newton razor sounds suspiciously like my Gottfried von Leibniz razor (quite ironically, made in Sheffield). I bet the differences are quite infinitesimal and, in the limit, the two would be difficult to differentiate.
I found my razor integrated nicely into my shaving routine. I am sure yours will too.

The Sir Isaac Newton razor was made by C. Friedrich Ern of Solingern-Weyer. They were at 196 Weyerstrasse in 1939. They used quite a few trade names, including Kobold and Sprock.
