Twin Duck
I've had this razor for some time and I don't think I ever posted any pics of it. It's a Twin Duck, Bresnick NY...I don't think I've ever heard mention of it.

I'm way too new to be an authoritative source of knowledge, but that looks remarkably like my Dubl Duck Special 1. The DD Special was my first straight and it is a remarkably good shaver!
Yours looks very nice. Great find!

Thanked: 3795OK, a question for the experts...
Was this Twin Duck a variant made by Dubl Duck or was this some other company taking blatant advantage of the brand recognition?

It's a special #1 which is just about the oldest line designed for professional use DD made throughout their history and the most plentiful of all the models.
As far a the Twinduck goes before Mr Bresnick decided to call his razors by the DD name he went through some name transitions and Twin Duck was one of them.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Nice! I'll bet it's a sweet shaver...!
What's the hone in the background btw? It looks like an asagi?
