If I had the money (and my wife wouldn't murder me for spending so much on a razor), I'd be buying a TI Historic Spartacus/Le Canadien (Only diff is the etching).

Now, to be fair, that's ENTIRELY based on its looks; I've never even shaved with a TI. I just love the spinework and the point.

    Spartacus: Historic Spartacus Bone Handles

Le Canadien: Thiers Issard Historic 6/8"-7/8" Le Canadien, Dos Festonne, Barber's Notch, Snakewood: Rasage Poulin Fine Wet Shaving Supplies : Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Since you seem to have all you really need, why not treat yourself to a one of a kind razor?
A custom by one the many fine artisans out there would be my suggestion!
A razor by Robert Williams, Tim Zowada, Alex Jacques or Mastro Livi amongst others, would add to anyone's collection.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

What is your current brush? I just got a Thater and I love it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

For strops, I love the SRD EB.

Razor wise, that really depends on what you like. It looks like you don't have any Sheffield steel, which is a crime punishable by the forced purchase of Sheffield steel. Carpe Chopper!

I agree that a W&B chopper is the next step. Then maybe an agile swedish blade, like a heljestrand or engstrom or antonberg.

My current brush is a omega 05. I know it's only a boar but it works wonders for me.

As for the vintage TI's I was looking at them before. I ended up getting a ti grelot not too long ago and really want another one now.

Well, brushes are personal preference.... but def get a Thater :-)

They are very soft but still have great backbone, and the heat retention is awesome. I love everything about mine.

Since you don't know what you want, get your wife some jewelry. The karma will pay off when there is something down the road that you HAVE TO HAVE.
