    Love that Boker!

    I can't tell decisively from the photo, but I think the scales are hard rubber, in which case there is a way to get them back to jet black...the thread is on here somewhere, but I don't have it offhand. Give them a hard rub and you should be able to tell by the smell if they're actually rubber.

    I check on the scales tonight, maybe just buffing will bring the nice look back. You could be right with Ebonite, i.e. Hardrubber, as I have another Boker which has those scales, just with some ornamentation.

    Nice finds! All should make great shavers. A little Maas on that Boker or maybe some buffing and it will be a looker.
