Thread: Razor wont close?

I have one that does that, but it's odd that a razor that used to close now won't. The one I have was restored, and it has never closed properly since.

I wonder if maybe the hot water did something to the scales at the pivot; if they expanded it would change the pressure on the tang and could prevent it from staying closed. Let it sit open and check again later - that would be my advice.
