Thanked: 0I too have an old razor I think is French. Only markings on it are "Cutrae Langres" -- I think -- and a Crown. It's a frameback with black scales that I think are wood, there's some grain to them, and the blade itself looks like Damascus steel. Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanked: 2027No Luck yet on the Ivory but I found this one,sort of faux damascus (is etched),not sure it is french but it sounds like it,on the tang: fontenille #13,Le Mondaine,Depose on the other,scales look like black horn.
