    Default Red Point?

    Hey all,

Has anyone had experience, hear of, have anything to say about Red Point razors. I saw two today, one in excellent shape. However, I passed by it in an antique store because the fellow behind the counter wanted an arm and a leg for it.

Thought I'd see what some veterans have to say about them. I'm familiar with the really big names (and this may be one, but I've just not seen them in my travels) such as W and B, Reynolds, DD, etc.

The gentleman at the store has all of his razors underneath the counter in a box, away from plain view, so on the off chance that this is really something I should look into, I can go back and haggle.

    Thanks for your help,
    Maxi

    Maxi,

Red Point or Red Imp? If they were the latter, then they are nice shavers. I wouldn't pay an arm and a leg for them, however.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

All Red Point razors are very good shavers.
And were made by well-known makers.

Agreed Red Point razors are almost always very good razors.
